AOW Conference 2017

The 10th Conference of the section Work-, Organizational- and Business psychology of the German Psychological Society (10. Tagung der Fachgruppe Arbeits-, Organisations- und Wirtschaftspsychologie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychologie) took place from September 13th to 15th in Dresden.

The topic this year was Human Performance in Socio-Technical Systems. The conference focused on questions concerning design, research and interventions meant to improve and optimise human action, learning and working in complex sociotechnical systems.

Factory2Fit partner Sebastian Mach and his colleagues from Chemnitz University of Technology presented their research on wearable devices and introduced the project. Sebastian reported that their communication with other researchers might lead to future collaboration, and that factory planners from a local business were very interested in finding out more about the project.
