The Factory2Fit External Advisory Board to meet in Helsinki

The Factory2Fit External Advisory Board will meet on Monday 30 January 2017 in Helsinki. This first face-to-face meeting between the Advisory Board members will be hosted by the Finnish Metalworkers’ Union in the heart of the Finnish capital.

The primary purpose of the meeting is for the External Advisory Board members to meet, get to know each other and discuss the project ambitions and impact. Factory2Fit partners, invited to participate in the meeting remotely, will have the opportunity to listen to the views of the Advisory Board members and to discuss with them the challenges, requirements and objectives of the project.

The External Advisory Board has been set up to provide the project with valuable feedback from leading experts in a variety of fields relevant to Factory2Fit. The international board includes eight experienced members representing sectors ranging from factories of the future to technology, ethics, health and safety at work, social responsibility and accessibility.

The External Advisory Board will be involved in project activities regularly, and physical meetings between Factory2Fit and the Board members will be organised twice a year.
