The Factory2Fit Project kicks off
The Factory2Fit consortium met on 9th and 10th November 2016 to officially kick off the three year project.
Partners from all nine organisations in the four participating countries (Finland, Germany, Greece and Ireland) travelled to Brussels to begin work on this exciting project.
By developing solutions to make the factory environment more flexible and adaptable, the Factory2Fit project will bring increased worker motivation, satisfaction and productivity. It will help people to become knowledge workers in smart factories with fulfilling careers.
Work is now underway on the first task – defining industry’s needs and requirements for adaptation solutions. This will be done locally with participating industrial partners, and globally with stakeholders from industry, scientific experts and user communities.
Factory2Fit is funded under the EU’s H2020 research programme. Follow us on Twitter (@Factory2Fit_EU) for project updates.
