Final review meeting in Seinäjoki, Finland

The Factory2Fit project culminated in a final review meeting in autumnal Seinäjoki, Finland, on Wednesday 25th September 2019.

The project team, the European Commission Project Officer Erastos Filos and the External Reviewer Adam Pawlak gathered at pilot partner Prima Power’s premises in Southern Ostrobothnia for an insightful final meeting before the project officially ended on 30th September.

The consortium, led by Eija Kaasinen, presented the numerous innovative results of the project, their far-reaching impacts and the partners’ post-project exploitation plans. The partners also gave visual demonstrations of the Factory2Fit solutions and their state-of-the-art features.

The main objective of the project was to develop and pilot adaptive human-automation interaction solutions that improve the work flow, support workers in understanding and developing their competences and engage them in sharing knowledge and participating in designing their own work and training.

The results show that especially the solutions to engage the work community are very well accepted, provide a positive user experience, and have potential to increase both work well-being and productivity.

The project team really enjoyed working together over the last three years and look forward to collaborating again in the future!
